Discussions which take place within therapy are confidential and correspondence with your GP will only take place with your consent.
There are times in which all health care professionals are legally obligated to break confidentiality, such as when there is a clear indication of risk to the client or to others. In rare cases such as these, your psychologist will endeavor to inform you prior to breaking confidentiality.
